Website Privacy Policy

Visitors to the 1st Family Mortgage Company website remain anonymous. We do not collect identifying information about visitors to our site. We may use standard software to collect non-identifying information about our visitors, such as:

Home Mortgage Disclosure Act

Enacted by Congress in 1975, the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act legislates the reporting of loan data by lending institutions. This includes geographic distribution of loans and applications; ethnicity, race, sex, and income of applicants and borrowers; and information about loan approvals and denials. This data is reported by the lending institutions on the first of March for loans and applications of the previous calendar year. If requested, lenders need to have the information available within 30 days of the request but not earlier than March 31st.

205 ILCS 635/2-9 Posting of license

The license of a licensee whose home office is within the State of Illinois or of an out-of-state licensee shall be conspicuously posted in every office of the licensee located in Illinois. Out-of-state licensees without an Illinois office shall produce the license upon request. Licensees originating loans on the Internet shall post on their Internet web site their license number and the address and telephone number of the Commissioner. The license shall state the full name and address of the licensee. The license shall not be transferable or assignable. A separate certificate shall be issued for posting in each full-service Illinois office.
